Meteorology

My doctorate was on tornadoes and waterspouts. Afterwards, I worked at the UK Meteorological Office for a year. I did a fair amount of work on hurricanes as well as boundary-layer studies, pollutant dispersal and numerical prediction. Liked the subject but not the job.
