A description of two experiments in testing. Both are work in progress but the bottom line so far is very interesting. Parallel inspections appear to give a practical way of predicting the total number of defects in a sub-system. The concept of Testing after Delivery introduced in this work shows that if testing continues after delivery, about half of the subsequent defects are discovered by the testers without the end-user ever seeing them. | None yet | 9 |
