Synopsis Invited Feedback Importance (/10, author rated :-) )
This is my latest development of power-law analysis. It leads to an important result which states that the probability distribution function of the software components in any software system of any provenance will obey a power-law in the alphabet of symbols used in the component.

This result is confirmed in 6 large independent systems and a series of further predictions made including that defects will cluster. This is also confirmed by supporting studies.
