Synopsis Invited Feedback Importance (/10, author rated :-) )
Illustrates the accuracy of airgun modelling even at frequencies up to 25kHz. Given the difficulties in getting marine life to tell us when it hurts or confuses them, it goes on to propose a way of measuring impact on marine life by attempting to predict the impact on a human diver in the vicinity of a discharging airgun array.

This particular conference currently only accepts papers in Word. Having used nothing but Kile / Latex for several years, this was a dreadful shock to the system. Office 2000 something or other lost equations, diagrams, changed fonts and even more esoteric things. What a calamitous piece of junk. If anybody asks me to do anything in Word in future, I shall impolitely and firmly refuse.
