The datasets I used to analyse the worldwide Hurricane frequency and intensity. It is from publicly quoted and impeccable sources, (see the attached paper). The main data is in an Excel spreadsheet created using Open Office and there are other .dat files and a hurricanes.gnu file to re-generate the plots from the paper using the admirable gnuplot.
I would like to publicly acknowledge organisations like NOAA, NASA and Unisys for promoting the rule of science in public education by making their data openly available. Would that more would do this. | None yet | 10 |
